Hello and welcome from your Leesville Elementary School PTA!

I am honored and excited about serving as president this year. We have wonderful programs and events to offer that greatly benefit our children, faculty and staff. We hope you will take a few minutes to read the information on this page and learn what we do and how we do it. Why we do it is simple – for our children.

This year we hope to build one, if not three, shade structures on our playgrounds; purchase several new computer systems; assist our teachers with classroom supplies; and continue providing top-notch student services and support.

With budget cuts and an increased population at LES, the PTA will be stretched even further this year. We ask that you join the PTA and support its efforts through the many ways we support our children, faculty and staff.

BE INFORMED Join the Yahoo group on this home page; read information sent home.
BE EMPOWERED Join the PTA! Be involved in the process that brings so much extra support to our school.
BE ENGAGED Take an active role in one or more of our diverse programs. Volunteer your time and talents and become engaged in what LES is all about. Your support truly makes a difference!

From tutoring to fundraising to cultural arts, Leesville PTA provides many beneficial services that help our teachers teach and our children learn. Please join us in our effort to keep LES one of the top performing elementary schools in Wake County!

With Pride,
Charmane Dail

Leesville Elementary Volunteer Information

Volunteering is rewarding! To be involved in your child’s school community will raise your awareness of school activities, knowing your child’s classmates and teachers. It allows you to know fellow parents and be involved in PTA programs. Volunteering at LES will allow you to share memorable experiences with your child.

We have many volunteer opportunities to fit everyone’s schedules, interests and needs. There are opportunities to work from home, come to your child’s classroom, work with children in the school and work with fellow parents and staff members. No prior experience is required!

If you have additional questions not answered by this volunteer information, please contact any PTA Board Member or Casey Rainey, PTA Volunteer Coordinator, crainey1@earthlink.net or 919-848-4551. We are here to help make volunteering fun and easy.
