We're glad you found us. Our school's media center is the place to go to find something great to read, to hear a story, to get information about almost anything, and to learn lots of new ideas.
We are here to help you, so take a look around and please, let us know how we can make your library (the real library and our web version, too) better.

Blog is a combination of the words "Web" and "Log". Think of it as a diary on the internet that we can post our comments/thoughts/questions about the books we will read. Below are the instructions for accessing this site:

Welcome to Leesville Elementary's online book club for students and staff. This site provides a safe, monitored environment for students to respond to questions and ideas from all participants about preselected books we are all reading at the same time. Here is how you do this:

Go to www.landmark-project.com
Click on Class Blogmeister (look for the picture of an old typewriter at the top)
On the right side, in the darker green, use the scroll down box to select a state North Carolina
In the same place use the scroll down box to select a teacher Freeze, Sharon
You are now on our Reading and Thinking school book club site
The yellow section has articles with questions or ideas I have posted about the book(s) we are reading. On the right hand side of the yellow section are the comments from other staff and students. Click on the ones you want to read.
If you want to make a comment, click on the blue highlighted word comment under my article. Then click on the gray box Add a Comment
Type in your screen name which would be your first name only or a made-up name. Do not use your full name!
Type in your email (ask mom or dad for help. I must have an email address because I screen all comments before they are posted. )
Type in your comment
Type in the letters and numbers you see in the box to “prove you are human”
Click on submit
